ENGlobal C.A.R.E.S.
ENGlobal established its C.A.R.E.S. (Communicating Appropriate
Responses in Emergency Situations) emergency response program after
Hurricanes Rita and Katrina in 2005 for both employees and clients.
The Plan, summarized, consists of three phases
and offers support to our clients and employees in the event of an
emergency. Our goal is to ensure the safety of our employees and provide
a resource for our clients during times of crisis.
In the event of an emergency, information will be continuously available
and updated on this page, and depending on the emergency, possibly via
radio broadcasts. Visit. the "Weather"
section for more information on public announcements.
ENGlobal offices can be threatened by emergency and disaster situations
both natural (such as flash flooding, hurricanes, tornados and fires)
and man-made (such as hazardous materials accidents, resource shortages,
civil disorders and terrorist threats). The purpose of the CARES website
is to provide guidance and information to the response actions of employees
and clients in crisis situations. This website describes the Emergency
Response Plan (ERP), protective actions and responses to the various situations.
In addition to the creation of the Plan, our information technology
infrastructure has been upgraded. All of our application servers are now
housed at a secure Data Center, and vital file servers are being backed
up to an off-site data storage facility, owned by a major wireless carrier.
In conclusion, we are here to help. In turn,
you can help us during crisis situations by letting us know that you are
safe and where you can be contacted. We understand that our employees
resilience makes it easier for the Company to rebound. We believe our
emergency preparedness plan (aka CARES) will help:
- Answer questions before they are asked,
- Sort out the unknown, and
- Provide a sense of security before an emergency arises.
Thank you.
